키무라 유키

Yuki Kimura was born in 1971 in Kyoto. She completed her graduate studies at Kyoto City University of Arts in 1996. She lives and works between Berlin and Kyoto. Recent solo exhibitions include “COL SPORCAR SI TROVA,” Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf (2022); “Inhuman Transformation of New Year’s Decoration, Obsolete Conception or 2,” CCA Wattis Institute, San Francisco (2016); Gluck50, Milan (2014); “Untitled,” Izu Photo Museum, Shizuoka (2010); and Daiwa Press Viewing Room, Hiroshima (2009). Kimura has also participated in numerous group exhibitions worldwide, including Artists Space, New York (2019); Daegu Photo Biennale (2018, 2012); “Ocean of Images: New Photography,” Museum of Modern Art, New York (2015); “Better Homes,” SculptureCenter, New York (2013); the 30th São Paulo Biennial (2012); and the 6th International Istanbul Biennial (1999).
