김 혜 연 Kim Hye Yeon Painterly Re-description toward the Utopia of Freedom and Solidarity 자유와 연대의 유토피아를 향한 회화적 재기술 ( 再記述 ) Hye Yeon Kim’s paintings show both the connection and distance between reality and fantasy and allow re-reading and new reading according to the reality of each audience and the particularity of ideals in their hearts while communicating the intention of her work in a way it is comprehensible for anyone with ordinary experience and education. Kim’s work is imagining the art of expansive becoming rather than expansive being in this context of possibility and it is currently on the last and first page of painterly narratives toward the Utopia of freedom and solidarity.
