About the exhibition

‘Musing Slowly’ Gallery Huue Singapore is pleased to present ‘Musing Slowly’, an exhibition featuring works by three Korean artists: Kim Taikyun, Kim Eunju, and Lee Eun, from November 2021 to February 2022. The contemporary art world often places great importance on a paradigm that reflects an artist’s philosophy. However, this emphasis sometimes leads to the belief that art must possess a profound concept, resulting in an overemphasis on the role of the subject to initiate discourse. This can occasionally obscure the original concept of art. Initially, art was a genre in which artists recreated and interpreted reality through their individual mindset or sensual perspective, expressed through various techniques. ‘Musing Slowly’ aims to intrigue by showcasing works that are both comfortable and profound, ones that the general public can appreciate without needing to decipher complex conceptual narratives. These three artists will present works that invite viewers to comprehend the inner world of the artwork intuitively, without requiring extensive analysis. In this exhibition, viewers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the comforting beauty of the artworks. ‘Musing Slowly’
